To work!

Yesterday (Tuesday) was a big day. We did a cue to cue and then a run through, basically a 12 hour day. The entire crew at the theater are very professional and very good at what they do, making it relatively easy. Everyone is in great spirits and we are enjoying our time here very much. We are also looking forward to tonight, the first show for an audience. We have one more run through this afternoon to work out the kinks.
We were taken to a (huge) restaurant for our lunch break and shared a huge spread of food of all kinds. Brian bought a cool little camera here (everyone now wants to get one) and took some pics of the food, hopefully we'll post some of them here later, including the chicken feet! Last night we found a local pub, very British colonial, for our nightcaps. We're all missing everyone back in the states, and we'll be throwin it down big time for you all tonight!

The Venue

Arrival

We have arrived safe and sound and everyone seems to have endured the travel and slept well. SO MANY TALL BUILDINGS, and all very close together. Our hotel is nice and in walking distance to the theater, adjacent to the red light district! Today (Monday here) is load in and tech day, the actors are free to roam, so we're relying on them to scope the area out a little better. More later!

Hong Kong here we come!

Greetings. In a little over 24 hours the road gang of our production of "1984" will be embarking to Hong Kong to participate in their International Theater Festival. We will be posting as often as time and energy allows, complete with photos. Traveling on this journey will be Keythe, Brian, P. Adam, Kaili, Toni, VJ, Steve, Erica, Dave, Sibyl, Bosco,Victoria, Joel and Greg. We are all eagerly awaiting the 15 hour flight to alter our mindset and prepare us (temporarily destroy us?) for the experience to come. Bon Voyage to us!
